Fall Green Speed
We have enjoyed a great summer with healthy greens & consistent green speed. As we head into the fall, we begin to prepare the greens for the winter ahead. At this time we will be raising our cutting height on greens from .120” to .130”. This promotes stronger root growth and a healthier plant. With this, the greens will roll slower. Our summer speed averaged 10.5 to 11 feet. Fall green speeds should average 10 feet.
We continue to enjoy beautiful September weather, let’s hope it follows us into November!
