As we communicate in so many ways, playing golf at BGCC has simple etiquette rules... keep pace and remember the people behind you. Repairing your ball marks, fixing divots and raking yourself out of bunkers are essential player responsibilities. With the number of annual rounds played, this needs to be stressed to all members.
We do have our summer turf crews on fairway divots, collecting dead divots and replacing with soil. Tee divots are done daily by staff. We ask all members to do their part on greens and please repair your ball mark!
The Proper Ball Mark Repair illustration shows how to fix the mark by pushing/twisting good turf into the middle of the damage. Do this every time, our greens will thank you!
