Congratulations to all the ladies who came out to play this weekend. Some of us had stellar games, some of us not so much but that is what it's all about. The birdie butter (it's now becoming known as par butter, bogie butter and 18th hole butter) and flask came in handy for a number of us. Everyone's participation was greatly appreciated.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to our volunteers who participated by helping us find errant balls or keep us company as we made our way to our balls: Betty Lou Rosborough, Deb Dennison, Janet James, Dale McLean, Sheila Novacco, Lorraine Evens, Marilyn Kack, Barb Hoetch, Brenda Knapman, Janet James, Janet Sutherland, as well as Jacobe Elliott who helped track the final group's scores from hole 9 to 18 so that our spectators at the club house could feel part of the celebration.
Thank you as well to all the ladies who sponsored the winners of each flight: Championship Flight - Cheryl Craig; 'A' Flight - Sheila Novacco; 'B" Flight - Kathy Moore; 'C' Flight - Rose Scherle and 'D' Flight - Gail Hooper.
A big congratulations to our Club Champion, Tania Clancy. She had three days of amazing play. If any of you aspire to become a Club Champion, I would suggest that you join her fitness regime, (short term pain for a long term gain). Oh...and just so you know, Tania had 5 birdies on the last day (that’s five shots of birdie butter – too bad I wasn’t in her group) This year's list of winners can be viewed by clicking on the following link:

Thank you as well to our Head Professional, Trevor Fackrell as well as his proshop and backshop staff for their work. To Dean and Jeff, the pink cups did not go unnoticed. Thank you!
