Dear Lady Members,
Spring is around the corner and with that comes golf. April 1st is only 18 days away and you can sign up for Warm Up Day, Ladies Opening, Clinics, Mixed Match Play, Ladies Match Play, Ladies Team Match Play, Ladies Team Play League and our new Ladies Senior Championship.
The Ladies Senior Championship is being held on July 16th and 17th. If you don’t wish to sign up and play, I hope you will show up to cheer the ladies coming in on Sunday afternoon and stay for our cocktail reception and presentations to the winners.
Team Play is coming into its 3rd season this year. Last season, we had 6 enthusiastic Captains who took the task of Team Captain to heart. Teams met for coffee, muffins, drinks, backyard parties, “team meetings” or any excuse for a Team together was embraced. There was a great amount of camaraderie. This year, we are looking for ladies who would be interested in being a Captain. Enthusiasm is a must! If your handicap is between 10 and 22 and you are interested, please contact our Team Convenor Kathy Moore at Kathleen.firstname.lastname@example.org
As always, keep up with the latest ladies section golf news by visiting our Golf Captain, Debbie Bristow and her Vice-Captain, Cyndie Horner at the Golf Sisters Report. You can easily access their report by double clicking this address:
This year we have added 7:00 am to 7:45 am tee times on Tuesdays for those who want to play their 9 holes first thing in the morning. For these tee times, you sign up on the regular tee sheet. This will help those who can only play 9 holes and must leave by not stranding the person they were playing with to play the back nine holes alone. Or if you only want to play nine holes later in the morning, please sign up on the regular tee sheet after 10 am on Tuesdays.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at: email@example.com or any of the other ladies on the Executive. We are all here for you.
I am looking forward to seeing all of our snowbirds home and those who have been here keeping warm on those cold winter days for our 2016 golf season.
