With the golf season getting into full swing...

With the golf season getting into full swing I would like to remind people that guest play and play in general will be going up. That being said, please realize that the lottery variance will go up as well. We will always try to keep this to a minimum and members may not get the exact times that they have been receiving up to this point.

I am very pleased with the new website on the whole, it does take a little learning to find your way around it, as it is different from what we are used to. Please contact the Pro Shop if you are having any issues and we will be pleased to help you out with this.

The Burlington Invitation was once again a big success. I have received several emails and compliments stating how wonderful this event is. I would like to congratulate Eric Ross on his victory.  It is truly nice to see 2 Burlington Golf and Country Club members win this event back-to-back. Hopefully we will make it 3 in a row next year!

Once again, both the Men’s and Ladies' Leagues have started with a full field. These leagues continue to prove themselves to be the best in the area.

We still have a couple fitting days left on our schedule so please see the Professional Staff for more details. Once the fitting days are over, remember that we can still custom fit you for any clubs you need.

Just a reminder that both Men’s, Club 60, and Ladies Member/Guest events are available for signup. You just need to click on the day the event is and sign up using the club Calendar of the website.

In closing I would like to share a little trick I have found and have mentioned to many people at the range.  Many of you have come to me and said it is very difficult to place a tee in our range mats. Pick the spot you wish to tee up, then face the net and drag your heel backwards, applying pressure on the turf for about 4 to 6 inches. You will now find that it is very easy to put the tee in the ground. I hope this helps and if it doesn’t make sense, just pop in the shop and one of us will gladly explain/demonstrate.

See you out there and enjoy the nice warm weather!
