“The most important shot in golf is the next one”
Can someone PLEASE order some nicer weather?!
Even though Mother Nature has not cooperated as fully as she can (Ahem! Opening Day!) June is just around the corner and the nicer weather must be as well!!
Here are a few of the upcoming events that are not to miss, as well as a few reminders:
1- Memorial (May 30th): 8:30am shotgun followed by lunch. This is a wonderful opportunity to take the time to remember the ladies that have come before us and left us too soon.
2- Ladies Member Guest (June 13th): If you have ever wanted to go to the Oscars, then this is your chance!! Grab a friend or two and come out to play in this signature event. Deadline for sign up is June 6th on the BGCC website.
3- Interchange: Hosting Beverly (June 22nd): Registration is open for those first 12 ladies! Make sure to sign up so that you get first right of refusal to golf at Beverly next year!
4- Birdie Tree: Please remember to e-mail Jerri Popp (firstname.lastname@example.org) and copy (CC:) someone you played with that day to attest your Tuesday birdies. Let’s fill up that birdie tree!
5- My Best Score: We are asking everyone to keep a 2nd copy of their best score in their locker or golf bag. That way you will know if there are any changes to be made in the locker room posters and also serves as a back-up.
6- Red Tees: The Pro Shop has updated their registration system so that ladies who always play the red tees can now indicate this when they register for the Tuesday morning events. This will allow them to properly prepare the scorecards ahead of time, etc…
7- Results: Did you know you can see all the ladies golf results on GG Golf? You just need to click on the “Tournament Results” tab on the left hand side, then select the tournament you want to view. Here's an "FAQ" if you want more info: http://burlingtongolfclub.uberflip.com/h/i/340345539-how-do-i-view-tournament-results
May all your drives be long and putts be straight,
Cyndie Horner =)
